Hipaloy®: PM Material for Wrought Steel Performance
Description
Hipaloy® is a specially formulated alloy and mix, designed to work at pressures from 900 MPa. It exhibits extremely high strength and shows high compressibility and sintered density in the range of 7.45-7.55 g/cc. Hipaloy® comes press-ready to the work-shop with a graphite content determined by the mechanical demands and the subsequent heat treatments. The material can be used as-sintered, sinter hardened, case hardened or quench and tempered.
