PM & Metallography Schools 2012

North American Höganäs Inc. (NAH) is pleased to announce the schedule for PM and Metallography Schools in North America for 2012.
PM School
The PM school is aimed to provide a theoretical background for experienced technicians or to be a good introduction to ferrous powder metallurgy for engineers new in this field, sales staff, and other persons involved in the PM process. It is an intensive three-day course where theoretical lectures are mixed with practical work.
In 2012, PM school will be offered on the following date:
September 25 – 27
Metallography School
The Metallography school is designed to be a follow up to our PM School. Students in the course will receive further instruction in material science as well as practical training preparing and interpreting PM microstructures. Students are encouraged to bring samples for group discussion. The class size is limited to 7 people.
In 2012, Metallography school will be offered on the following date:
October 30 – November 1
