PM material for wrought steel performance

Hipaloy® is a specially formulated alloy and mix, designed to work at pressures from 900 MPa. It exhibits extremely high strength and shows high compressibility and sintered density in the range of 7.45-7.55 g/cc.

Hipaloy comes press-ready to the work-shop with a graphite content determined by the mechanical demands and the subsequent heat treatments. The material can be used as-sintered, sinter hardened, case hardened or quench and tempered.

Distaloy® AQ is the latest addition to our family of Distaloy powders. It is a material for heat treatment purposes for powder metallurgical component manufacturing. The Distaloy powders represent materials which are diffusion alloyed for maximum compressibility and strength together with good consistency of properties on the PM components. 

Distaloy AQ is specially designed to have good machinability and sizing properties in sintered state and high strength after heat treatment.

The composition of Astaloy™ LH and Distaloy® LH is designed to optimize cost and performance in sinterhardening applications. The result is a cost-effective lean alloy system compared to other sinterhardening materials such as FLC2-4808 and FLC-4608. Astaloy™ LH and Distaloy® LH are also suitable for replacing heat-treated applications that require hardness levels HRC 30 - 40.
