Our Products
The products are divided in two different main categories; powder mixes and alloy powders.
Alloy powders are the main ingredient in any powder mix. During the years Höganäs has developed a range of different alloy brands, now standards in the PM industry. As example diffusion steel alloys, so called Distaloy materials, developed by Höganäs, represent alloys, which can only be processed with powder metallurgy. They offer a unique combination of high compressibility, process robustness, tolerances, strength and toughness.
Lubricants, graphite and other additives in the powder mix add important process improvement features to the material such as: stain-free components, higher tolerances, productivity and better compressibility/component performance.
