Distaloy® materials
With increasing alloy content hardenability and strength increases. The “A” product series AQ-AE is based on ASC100.29 iron powder and has excellent sintered and heat treated properties. Distaloy® AQ is the only material specially designed for post sintering heat treatment. Products based on Astaloy™ materials (series DC-LH) are specially designed for sinterhardening applications.
Distaloy AQ 
Lean and cost efficient material for heat treatment.
Distaloy AB and Distaloy AE and Distaloy AF
For both press-sinter applications and heat treatment.
Distaloy SA and Distaloy SE
Have similar properties compared to Distaloy AB and Distaloy AE but higher green strength due to the base on sponge iron (SC100.26).
Distaloy DC
DC = Dimensional Control
Powder specially developed to obtain both a stable dimensional change independent of the density and a high strength after sintering.
Distaloy DH
DH = Direct Hardening
Powder which exhibits an extremely good hardenability.
Distaloy HP
HP = High Performance
Very high strength is obtained after sintering with a dimensional change that is close to zero.
Distaloy LH
LH=Lean Hardening
Cost effective solution for sinterhardening.
