The Tech Center supports the customers of North American Höganäs in three key areas: Technical Service, Application Development and Strategic Innovation.

• Technical Service involves process development, metallurgical investigations, PM & Metallography training schools and test mixes.
• Application Development utilizes industry scanning and value chain analysis for the ultimate benefit of end users via joint projects with customers.
• Strategic Innovation delivers performance-enhancing and cost-effective metal powder solutions by understanding customer and end-user needs continuously and at the RFQ stage.

The North American Tech Center co-operates extensively with the Group’s other R&D hubs: the Europe Tech Center in Höganäs, Sweden and the Asia Tech Center in Shanghai, China. A number of projects are run in cooperation with the tech centers and other units of the Group in Global Development Teams.
