Somaloy® Update Newsletter
The 2nd issue of this year’s Somaloy Update starts by presenting the upcoming seminar about the “Latest Trends in Electric Propulsion Technology”. The two-day seminar, arranged by Höganäs and UK Magnetics Society, will take place in the Swedish south-western city Helsingborg, and will, among other things, offer the participants the opportunity to go on a plant tour of Höganäs.
The issue also presents the newly launched Modulated Pole Machine – a highly-efficient and very compact electric motor that has been developed for the Höganäs PoP-bike, but is suitable for many other applications as well.
The reader will also be given the opportunity to read more about the work of Zhou Ye who has spent his last 10 years on development of the Somaloy® material.
