- I simply enjoy working at Höganäs, says Toste. It's a great company with great people. I like the fact that we are a global company that makes really advanced products.
Toste started at Höganäs in 1997 at the Customer Service department. Later, he switched to marketing and focused during five years on promoting powder metallurgy in Japan.
- It was definitely an experience, he says. The Japanese think a little differently than we do in Sweden. It took some time to get used to it. I travelled to Japan four times a year and each time I spent two weeks visiting customers. We saw at least one client every day, so it was pretty intensive.
Back home, Toste continued with marketing. For three years, he was in charge of all corporate market communications.
Today, he leads Product Management Sweden, acting as a link between production and sales.
- Having worked so close to our customers for so many years, I know what they want and what we need to do to be able to deliver value. My goal is to see everything from a customer perspective.
