Associate Cost Accountant
Höganäs in North America is seeking an Associate Cost Accountant for its production facility located in Hollsopple, Pennsylvania.
About the position
The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing tasks associated with cost accounting, forecasting, general accounting and monthly closing activities. Provides support for all aspects of variance analysis, reporting and projections. Participation in inventory cycle counts, reconciliation, and annual physical inventory. Control and accuracy of cost setting on new products and processes. Assists with capital project analysis including NPV, IRR and payback.
Qualified applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with one to three years’ related experience including cost reporting. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP software. Ability to utilize critical thinking and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for writing reports and communications with internal customers
