Process Engineer
Höganäs is looking for a skilled Process Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of powdered metal production processes. As a Process Engineer, the successful will be responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. Ultimately, the Process Engineer's job is to maintain the efficiency of production in order to reduce costs.

About the position

The Process Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting, recommending, and developing solutions through equipment or process changes that reduce costs, increase production, and improve quality, environment, and safety. The candidate will educate production members on proper operation of equipment and preventative maintenance, along with developing equipment FMEAs and recommendations, as well as purchase, and coordinate parts, equipment, and services. They will also ensure all quality assurance guidelines are followed through the manufacturing process.

Your profile

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in writing detailed engineering reports.
