About the position

A member of the APAC management team.  Responsible for overall finance in Höganäs APAC and a leader of the APAC financial organization via matrix reporting.  Supporting business growth with deep commercial understanding and experience, as well as analyzing sales, financial figures and trends in various industries.  Identifying financial risks, meanwhile driving price and cost optimization, also reporting of financial results and forecasts of the region.  On time completion of monthly reports, year-end closing, annual audits and/or other routines to support the Continents and overall Höganäs strategies and plans of different business lines.

A leader for developing the finance organizations and teams in APAC.  Create a culture for continuous improvement with right processes in placed and an environment for young talents to develop skills, embrace continuous improvement and problem solving mind-set, and enable sustainable growth of business, organization and people. 

In addition, one of the main responsibilities includes making sure that Höganäs in APAC follows local laws and regulations besides the global policies of Höganäs, maintain proper financial controls and represent the organization in various business related forums internally and externally.   

Lead IT function by working with countries, Group IT and Business Systems teams, as well as to lead Legal and Governance activities in the Region.

Your Profile

  • Education: BS/MS degree in finance or a related field.
  • 15+ years of professional experience, preferably being a member of a management team with experience of working in a matrix set-up.
  • M&A experience with sound skills from due diligence, financial planning, scoping, and integration etc.
  • Multi-cultural working experience or cross cultural savvy is a plus.
  • Personal drive and high energy with passion in team development.
  • Good command of English.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Sustainability: a sufficient understanding of corporate and social responsibilities to successfully manage this agenda at APAC level.

Managing the matrix: balancing decision making and alignment needs in a matrix organizational environment.
