Höganäs in North America is seeking a Software Engineer for its production facility located in Hollsopple, PA.
About the position
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing computer operational information driven systems and business applications, as well as providing operational and technical aspects of plant business systems and applications designed to support all business functions as it conforms to the overall Corporate Information Technology strategy.
The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The candidate should also possess experience with PLC, DCS, MES, ERP, MRP, LIMS, and BI Systems as well as the following programming languages: C, C#, Visual Basic, HTML, HTML5, .Net Platform, ASP.net, Microsoft Access, SQL, Python, Microsoft IIS, and CSS.
