About the position

As the Manager, Business Development for Electro-Magnetic Applications(EMA) within Hoganas India, you will be responsible for generating business opportunities for Hoganas Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC) based solutions for electric motors and passive components. Your key result areas will be building an opportunity pipeline and converting them to achieve sales targets profitably.

Externally, you will work with key stakeholders primarily in the automotive traction/ auxiliary motors and passive components value chain. You will also work with key stakeholders in the industrial motors space for non-automotive motor applications. In order to fulfil the demand you will engage with the SMC component manufacturers.

Internally, you will work with the Global, Asia-Pacific and Indian technology teams to understand our value proposition and create compelling customer proposals and marketing communications. This will also include participation in component design exercises and supporting lab/ field trials. You will engage with the commercial sales, customer support and global supply chain teams to fulfil the customer orders.

This position will be based in Pune, India.

Your profile

We are looking for an Engineering Graduate preferably with an MBA in Marketing Management with 5-10 years of sales/ business development experience in the Electric Motor or related space. You have an understanding of motor design & manufacturing. You have preferably worked with customers in the automotive industry.

You have worked in cross-functional teams to deliver technology-based solutions to customers. You have a keen interest in digital B2B marketing. You follow key trends in the electric mobility space & environmental sustainability. Experience of working in a global company will be an advantage. You have a creative self-starting attitude and entrepreneurial thinking.
