About the position

Corporate Legal is a dedicated team of five professionals that ensures that the group at all time have access to high quality legal support in a wide range of business matters, reaching from day-to day corporate matters to complex business transactions in an international environment.

The work covers a variety of areas like research and development, co-operations, sales, distribution, intellectual property rights and know-how, product liability, company law, real estate related matters, data protection etc. The corporate legal team also manages the group’s IP strategy and portfolio, is overall responsible for the compliance programs within the group, and manages the group insurance program. The work will include but not be limited to the following;

• Proactively engaging and advising on legal opportunities and risks related to general business matters, including the development of new products and services, drafting and reviewing agreements with customers, partners and suppliers, real property matters, M&A etc.;

• Providing guidance with respect to changes in legal regulatory framework;

• Participating in development of and implementing legal related policies and processes, template agreements and supporting tools in order to support best practice;

• Developing knowledge and competence among business colleagues in respect of commercial contracts, corporate governance and ethics, including offering training programs, supporting process development etc.;

• Supporting in corporate legal matters and governance, including maintaining updated corporate-related information regarding the legal business entities within the group and

• Managing and co-ordinating external legal advisers.

The position reports to the SVP Group Legal. Travel will be required occasionally.

Your profile

You have a Swedish LL.M. followed by at least six years of experience from working at a reputable law firm or as an international in-house counsel working with matters relevant for the job. You have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbally and in writing. You have a genuine interest in doing business, a strategic mindset, and a solid commercial understanding. You actively contribute with your expertise to support and impact the business. You have a proven ability to communicate complex information in a simplified way, contributing to good decision making. Experience from working with intellectual property rights, with the area of compliance of anti-trust and anti-bribery, or with risk and insurance management are additional merits.

As a person, you are perceived as a positive team player, willing to build relations and to share experience and knowledge, to learn from others and not afraid to go “that extra mile” when needed. You continuously improve ways of working and engage other to do the same, and you actively take actions to implement changes in processes and behaviors.
