Höganäs launches Sustainability Report 2019
Today, we launch our sustainability report. Here you can read about our achievements during 2019 and our challenges going forward.
For example, did you know that we launched a new supplier Code of Conduct, a sustainability strategy, a climate roadmap and a product vision during 2019?
Some key figures:
50 % of our raw materials consist of secondary, or recycled material. Secondary materials include both pre- and post-consumer scrap.
50 % of our purchased electricity was from renewable or partly renewable sources.
80 % of all process residuals are reused. Our target is 85 %.
