Höganäs celebrates 60 years in Japan
On June 20, Höganäs celebrated 60 years in Japan. Invited guests, customers and suppliers, as well as employees, took part in the ceremony and technical seminars that were held at the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo.
During the opening of the ceremony, Isamu Kikuchi, President of the Japan Powder Metallurgy Association, and Toru Ogasawarafrom Mazda, spoke about Höganäs' role in and contribution to building competence within the industry.
Hybrid and electric vehicles were a natural topic among the guests.
- We aim at being a true global partner moving forward, said Carl Eklund, President of Höganäs Japan. We are determined to continue and develop new solutions and renew ourselves, to remain a long-term sustainable company.
