New Korean mixing plant in operation

Last week Höganäs inaugurated its new mixing plant in Busan, Korea. With the latest mixing technology Höganäs will now be able to support the Korean PM market and the local automotive industry even better.

- I am very happy and confident about our future in Korea, says Frank Song, Manager Höganäs Korea. With the Busan Plant we can fully support the Korean market and other Asian markets as well.

The inauguration started off with tree planting outside the new plant on a sunny day on the South Korean east coast. After the subsequent ribbon cutting ceremony, the celebrations continued from inside of the mixing plant with speeches from the Swedish ambassador to Korea, the Vice Mayor of Busan and the chairman of the Korea PM Association to name a few.

The new mixing plant is Höganäs’ most modern one to date. It has been built to minimise the distance from warehousing to mixing, packing and finally delivery. Moreover, it features a well-equipped test laboratory and the first ISO 9000 certification is already in place.

With the new mixing plant in operation, Höganäs can ensure that customers in Korea and the nearby regions can have their orders delivered to their door faster than ever.
