There is a lot going on within the segment for additive manufacturing at Höganäs. In the latest issue of Swedish trade magazine Maskinoperatören, you will find a full spread article about our developments within 3D printing.

Today, Höganäs’ proprietary technology Digital Metal® is mainly used for manufacturing of prototypes of small components, often smaller than 50 millimetres.

However, in the area of industrial components, Höganäs is also meeting an increasing demand for small series production, says Ralf Carlström, General Manager for Additive Manufacturing.

To broaden the market offering and increase production within additive manufacturing, Höganäs will put greater focus on post-processing of products while also investing in new equipment.
