“This year we have the theme of ergonomics and manual handling, as these are areas that affect everyone in the company, from the employees in production to employees working mainly in the offices. These are also areas where we see opportunities for improvements," says Håkan Persson, Global Safety Manager Operations.

During Safety Week, a variety of activities are taking place at all Höganäs’ sites around the world. Training courses, safety walks, revisions of work instructions, safety talks are carried out and all employees are encouraged to review their own and their colleagues’ office work environments, to name a few examples.

“Even though safety is a natural part of our daily work, we hope that this safety week will create additional awareness and contribute to concrete improvements,” says Håkan.
