Höganäs reaches gender equality target – 20 percent women in the organisation

In connection with International Women’s Day, Höganäs presents progress in gender equality. The company has set clear ambitions, and in 2025 it reached its target of 20 percent women in the organisation, compared with 17 percent just a few years ago.

TheréseJönmark, SVP HR & Communications at Höganäs“We are convinced that an organisation made up of people with different backgrounds, experiences, knowledge and perspectives strengthens Höganäs. It enables us to make better decisions and create more innovative solutions,” says Therése Jönmark, SVP HR & Communications at Höganäs.

To achieve its goals, Höganäs works strategically to integrate diversity and inclusion into all employee processes. In addition, the company focuses on increasing knowledge and awareness across the organisation, adapting the physical working environment and promoting a healthy work–life balance. The company also has a clear zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of discrimination.

Charlotte Siversson, VP Career and Performance Management at Höganäs“The progress we are seeing shows that long-term commitment and clear targets make a difference. Reaching 20 per cent female employees is an important milestone, but it is not our final goal. We will continue our efforts to increase diversity and inclusion and to ensure equal opportunities at all levels of the organisation,” says Charlotte Siversson, VP Career and Performance Management.

Although gender is only one of several dimensions of diversity, progress in gender equality has positive effects in other areas as well. It strengthens Höganäs as an attractive employer and contributes to the company’s long-term success.
