Höganäs Region APAC started exporting metal powder to Asia in the 1950's.  Now Höganäs' sales subsidiaries are in China, Japan, Korea, India and Taiwan, serving more than 1000 customers including East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.  The four plants in Shanghai, Ahmednagar, Saitama and Busan are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.  Our teams in APAC handle all Höganäs products, services, and solutions for the Asian markets and provide services to customers’ transplants in the APAC region.

The Job

The position holder oversees both internal and external communications to create internal prints or digital pieces to promote communication inside the organization.  Meanwhile, assists in the development of marketing and communication plans, as well as leads the development of external communication pieces.  To build and communicate company culture and values, also work on employer branding.   

The Responsibilities

  • Together with business managers continuously develop and improve communication contents, processes and structures, focus on Lean transformation, business achievements etc., driven by the belief of continuous improvement.
  • Develop marketing and communication strategies, follow corporate style guides and research trending topics to draft high-quality targeted content that is aligned with the needs of business development focuses.
  • Create media releases, develop social media plans, track effectiveness of communication and make sure all contents align with the Company’s branding and business objectives.
  • Coordinate exhibitions, advertising information to support business development in the region.
  • Be a good cultural ambassador to promote and disseminate the company vision, mission and values to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate company events, and team activities.

 The Competencies  

  • Writing skills: excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the ability to source and create stories from employees and business stakeholders. 
  • Very good command of English.
  • Ability to work and communicate at different levels within the organization with service and supporting mind-set.
  • Attention to details and ability to analyze and interpret data to derive insights.
  • Have a passion for content marketing, and drive to continuously improve.
  • Professional demeanor, mature, well-organized and approachable personality with good interpersonal skills.
  • Can-do attitude, results-driven, proactive and one-team mentality.
