During Safety Week, a variety of activities are taking place at all of Höganäs’ sites around the world. Training courses, safety walks, revisions of work instructions, and safety talks are just some of the examples of activities that will be carried out and all employees are encouraged to review their own and their colleagues’ work environments.

This year we have an extra ambitious programme. In addition to all the local activities, we also have a global theme: the launch of Nine Life Saving Rules. This will help clarify what is expected of everyone in order to be a part of building a strong safety culture.

“Even though safety is a natural part of our daily work, we hope that Safety Week will create additional awareness and contribute to concrete results in our strive for an improved safety culture,” says Håkan Persson, Global Safety Manager Operations.
