Remarks:

  • Fine WC
  • Higher apparent density than Amperit 518
  • Designed for higher deposition efficiency when sprayed with kerosene HVOF systems
  • See Amperit 518 or:
  • Used for general wear, paper rolls, corrugated rolls, wire drawing equipment, fan and compressor blades, pump seals and housing, machine parts, process rolls in steel production, etc.

Chemistry: Cr3C2 20(Ni 20Cr)
Powder type: Agglomerated and sintered
Suitable for deposition techniques: Cold spraying, HVOF, HVAF

     
 

Remarks:

  • Medium carbide
  • Max. operating temperature 870 °C
  • For dense oxidation and erosion resistant coatings
  • Good cavitation resistance
  • Hot gas corrosion resistant
  • Used for valve stems, turbine components, fuel rod mandrels, etc.
