Copper alloy system with unrivalled performance
Unique for Glidcop is that the aluminium oxide particles are thermally stable. They remain effective in strengthening the copper matrix, resisting grain coarsening and recrystallisation even after very long exposures to high temperature.
Glidcop grades with different oxide contents are available to serve a broad range of strength and conductivity requirements based on the needs of an application.

Glidcop®
Glidcop AL-15
Glidcop AL-15 (C15715) is primarily designed for applications requiring the highest electrical and thermal conductivities along with good elevated temperature strength. Glidcop AL-15 has excellent cold working characteristics, and can be drawn into fine wire or rolled into thin sheets.
Glidcop AL-25
Glidcop AL-25 (C15725) is primarily designed for applications requiring high electrical and thermal conductivities along with good elevated temperature strength. Glidcop AL-25 has excellent cold working characteristics and can be drawn into fine wire or rolled into thin sheets.
Glidcop AL-60
Glidcop AL-60 (C15760) is primarily designed for applications requiring the highest elevated temperature strength coupled with relatively high electrical and thermal conductivities. It exhibits a high degree of resistance to softening after exposure to elevated temperatures. Glidcop AL-60 has sufficient cold working characteristics for heading, extrusion and some drawing and rolling operations.
