Rally car conversion

During 2011-2012, all sets of conventional transmission gears in a Mitsubishi EVO X were replaced with sintered gears. The goal was to prove that basic gears work well for demanding tasks.

The car was used in both the Swedish Rally Championship and the World Rally Championship. After more than 800 km of driving in tough conditions, test results showed that the sintered gears outperformed the original test gears.
