AMEXCI is one of our most prominent innovation partners when it comes to additive manufacturing technologies and we also collaborate with several other additive manufacturing application centres. These collaborations are crucial when accumulating knowledge about the latest developments in 3D printing and for collecting large volumes of process data. Thanks to the data, we can refine 3D printing process parameters, which contributes to our customers’ success when 3D printing their complex components.
About AMEXCI
AMEXCI AB was founded in 2017 with the mission to be a resource for its shareholders to accelerate their adoption of additive manufacturing. Höganäs AB is one of the shareholders of AMEXCI.
AMEXCI’s services include 3D printing parts, product development, training and qualification as well as testing of additive manufacturing materials and processes. The state-of-the-art facility in Karlskoga, Sweden, was inaugurated in September 2018. As an important innovation partner to Höganäs, AMEXCI is contributing to our product development of 3D printing metal powders with its leading-edge expertise.
When it comes to 3D printing research, AMEXCI has created a network with researchers in academia, including science teams at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Chalmers University of Technology, Örebro University, Alfred Nobel Science Park, Mid Sweden University and Aachen Center for Additive Manufacturing.
