Mix Concept Engineered for High Precision VVT Components
Variable valve timing (VVT) systems allow for the perfect combination of performance increase, better economy and improved emission control. The components used in a VVT system are typically highly complex in design and challenging to manufacture as they require extremely tight tolerances and good machinability. PM has proven to be a robust and cost effective manufacturing technique to meet these demands. In this paper a newly developed mix concept specifically engineered for manufacturing of high precision VVT components will be described.
