800,000 components get more attractive, cheaper and better
Taiwanese company Porite produces components for companies including Bosch, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, GM, Ford and Chrysler. An oil pump part for the automotive industry with annual production of 800,000 units was one of the first products Porite changed to Intralube® E – Höganäs’ press-ready mix for improved pressing and sintering processes.
By changing to Intralube E, Porite was able to improve the surface of the components and thereby minimize post-processing costs. The increased density of the components also resulted in a reduction of materials, energy and production costs.
